VP Jagdeep Dhankar 'attaches' personal staff to 20 Rajya Sabha panels, draws opposition ire

Eight members of Rajya Sabha chairman and VP Jagdeep Dhankhar’s personal staff have been “attached” to 20 House panels thatcame under the ambit of the RS this week, a move that drew flak from opposition benches. Dhankhar said the decision was taken after “multi-layered consultations”. These officers have been tasked with assisting committees in their work.
