ED arrests Hyderabad businessman for 'payoffs to AAP members'

In its crackdown on the "South group" which allegedly tried to control liquor distribution in the national capital under the now scrapped Delhi excise policy, the ED on Monday night arrested Hyderabad businessman Arun Pillai, stating in its remand note to the court that he "connived" to channelise payoffs of Rs 100 crore to AAP functionaries.
