At 6:04 p.m. IST (12:34 GMT) on Wednesday, the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will make an attempt to land on the lunar south pole in a mission that is essential to lunar research and the nation's status as a space power.
