Udhampur police arrest 99 bovine smugglers; slap PSA against 4, rescue 618 animals in last 5 months

Udhampur police have intensified their efforts against bovine smuggling, arresting 99 individuals, including 95 in smuggling cases and 4 under the Public Safety Act, over the past five months. During this period, authorities rescued 618 animals and registered 87 cases related to the illegal trade. Additionally, 70 vehicles used for transportation were seized, and 20 vehicle registration certificates were cancelled.
