No Joshimath-like situation in Jammu village: Lieutenant governor Manoj Sinha

The J&K administration is keeping close watch on Thathri village of Jammu’s Doda where several houses have developed cracks, Lt Governor Manoj Sinha said Saturday and denied that the situation was akin to Joshimath’s subsidence. “All those in affected houses have been evacuated, no need to create a hype. The best possible action will be taken (for their rehabilitation),” Sinha told reporters on the sidelines of a Raj Bhawan programme when asked “if it’s a Joshimath-like situation”.
