Cases dip to 34-day low, fewest deaths in 15 days

The third wave continued to recede in the country, with daily cases plunging to a 34-day low while fatalities dropped to the fewest reported in 15 days.India recorded 66,028 fresh cases on Monday, down from 85,026 logged on the previous day. This was the lowest daily tally since January 4, when the third wave had just entered its second week.
