Will take up 50% representation of women in judiciary with Collegium: CJI

Chief Justice of India NV Ramana on Tuesday told women lawyers that he would take up with his colleagues in the present 'judges-selecting-judges' collegium system the issue of 50% representation of women in constitutional courts. The SC has four women judges among 33 and women constitute a mere 11.5% of HC judges at present.
