Supreme Court rejects ‘marriage bail’ plea of rapist ex-priest & survivor

The Supreme Court on Monday firmly rejected a joint plea by a rape survivor and the convict, defrocked Kerala Catholic priest Robin Vadakkumuchery, for grant of interim bail to him to allow them to get married and give legitimacy to the child born out of the priest’s sexual assault on the woman when she was a minor.
