Google search engine on Thursday marked the annual Earth Day through a video doodle on its home page highlighting how everyone can plant the seed to a brighter future—one sapling at a time. The video doodle shows trees and humans growing alongside each other. Every year April 22 is observed as Earth Day to mark the birth of the modern environmental movement in 1970.​​​
