Attack on Nadda's convoy: MHA summons West Bengal DGP and chief secretary

The Union ministry of home affairs today summoned West Bengal Director General of Police (DGP) Virendra and chief secretary Alapan Bandyopadhyay on the prevailing law and order situation the the state. The move comes a day after an attack on BJP chief JP Nadda's convoy in Diamond Harbour the Lok Sabha constituency of chief minister Mamata Banerjee's nephew Abhishek Banerjee.
