Eye on China, desi light tank Zorawar to be ready by 2027

India's Project Zorawar light tank is expected to be ready for induction into the Army by 2027. The light tank, developed by DRDO and private sector company L&T, will have to undergo a series of summer and winter trials, including in deserts and high-altitude areas, over the next two to three years before the entire acquisition, production and induction process can actually begin.

Rahul Gandhi to visit Manipur on July 8, first time as leader of opposition

Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the opposition in Lok Sabha, will visit Manipur on Monday to meet people affected by recent violence in various districts of the northeastern state. This visit marks Gandhi's third trip to the conflict-ridden state and his first as the leader of the opposition.
